Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) will be designed and operated to respond dynamically to changes in the operating environment within the BESS capacity constraints. Savings and revenue will be derived, inter alia, from enabling a new Site electricity demand profile (‘EDP’) to achieve, for example, Red Zone avoidance, TRIAD avoidance, arbitrage value through energy trading and capacity market benefits. The Supplier will operate the BESS to best achieve the Target Benefits agreed under a shared benefits model.
